Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Limited
Previously working for NTL, Lambs UK continued to work for Virgin Media on behalf of various installation contractors. The scope of work stretched from Yorkshire through to East Anglia, and increasingly focused on cable pulling.
After a successful pitch process, Lambs UK became an ‘official’ partner of Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Limited and continued their work on the Virgin Media Motif Contract. Virgin Media are renowned for providing the most widely used fastest broadband in the UK.
Good communication and partnership working is key to the success of a project. Lambs UK’s high service levels ensures daily conference calls between supervisors and team managers are made, regular joint site inspections are conducted, crew completions are monitored and quality management checks are scheduled.
The current work for Fujitsu involves cable & construction work and other related services across the North West of England, Yorkshire and the Midlands. Crews of cable and construction operatives undertake around 2,500 individual jobs between them each week.
Lambs UK is proud to be a part of this nationwide project. This project provides essential telecommunications services, including broadband and cable television services, to around 10,000 homes every month.
