Director
Simon has over thirty years experience working in the industry and is an authority in his field. He originally established S Lamb Construction in 1988 to provide ground works to some of the UK’s leading construction companies and various local authorities. He is responsible for the operational direction of Lambs UK, and has an oversight of the day-to-day running of the company. Simon plays a key role in liaising with Lambs UK staff at every level and is in touch with all aspects of the business, from supplier contracts to client liaison. Simon is an extremely focused individual who expects high standards of delivery and excellent customer service.
Director
Amanda’s expertise lies in finance and business management. She is a skilled business woman with 20 years’ experience running her own manufacturing and retail company. Amanda is responsible for the commercial management of Lambs UK and plays a crucial role in the decision making process. As well as looking after the company’s financial interests, she regularly presents ideas, reports to clients and oversees the business development requirements for the company. Amanda is a true professional, who believes strongly in team spirit and enjoys a challenge.
National Manager
Ray has worked within the industry for over 20 years and has been with Lambs UK for the majority of his career. As National Manager, Ray is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the company, including the employment of staff and client liaison. Ray is a crucial member of the Lambs UK team and is well respected throughout the company for his knowledge of the business, clear vision and approachability. He is proud to be part of Lambs UK, which he recognises as being an extremely forward-thinking and determined organisation.
Operations Manager
Dave is an expert in cable installation, with over 15 years’ experience working in the industry. He is a key member of the Lambs UK management team, with responsibility for the overseeing the company’s onsite crews and administrative team. As Operations Manager, Dave works closely with the appointed Team Managers and Lambs UK’s Senior Administrator. Dave recognises the importance of maintaining a seamlessly run organisation. He ensures that work load, planning and resources are all carefully managed across the company. He also ensures that the right levels of support are provided, when and where required. Dave appreciates the open-natured management style adopted by Lambs UK and enjoys working as part of the team.
Lambs UK employs a series of Team Managers who regularly oversee, at any one time, over 100 operatives and engineers working on projects nationwide. The Team Managers make sure that the crews out in the field are fully trained and understand their roles and responsibilities. Lambs UK crews comprise of both cable and construction operatives who undertake between them in the region of 2,500 individual jobs per week.
Senior Administrator, Jennifer Ennis, is responsible teams of staff based at the Lambs UK Head Office in Warrington and at the company’s office located in the Midlands. The administrative teams are fully trained and competent in the use of the company’s innovative portal database system, and liaise on a daily basis with the operatives and engineers in the field to ensure key information and the status of each job is recorded in ‘live time’.’
