Customer feedback is carefully examined and used to advance service provision.
Health & Safety
Health and safety is of utmost importance to Lambs UK. Systems are in place and reviewed to ensure that the risk of accidents is minimised at all times and that all legal requirements are strictly adhered to. A comprehensive training and development programme ensures that staff, at all levels, are aware of the necessary health and safety standards and procedures.
All aspects of Health & Safety at Lambs UK are overseen by Tony Potts and Brian Saidie, the company’s Health & Safety Managers.
“Health and Safety is key to all jobs undertaken. We undertake 30 audits on 20 vans per month for both internal and client records”
Ian Gee, Team Manager
Training
Lambs UK staff receive regular ‘toolbox’ training – a learning system that provides work based assessment, e-learning, and on-going tutorial support. The training helps to prepare Lambs UK operatives and engineers for every eventuality in the field and is an integral part of their work.
“Lambs UK is committed to supporting its workforce through regular training and development. We are proud to be able to provide work opportunities for an increasing number of operatives. Many of our field workers would otherwise be unable to gain employment in the cable industry, due to not having the necessary qualifications and experience.”
Amanda Lamb, Director
Management and all operatives and engineers receive training in NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) and the team managers are NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) accredited.
